Grace started working with various social service agencies and contributing her service to the community since year 2000. She has had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for South Fraser Women's Services Society as well as the British Columbia Association for Marriage & Family Therapists.
She has written a brief research paper on how parents can play a part in modifying the behaviour of preschool children with AD/HD. If you have a toddler who shows signs of attention deficit and hyperactivity, you may find this paper most helpful.
As a mental health clinician or psychotherapist, Grace strongly emphasizes brief and effective interventions. Some of Grace's previous and challenging clients have included a child with autism who had difficulty with spelling and writing, was able to write in sentences after only one month of intervention. An adult client with gambling addiction overcame his gambling urge with one session of body psychotherapy. Many of her clients show signs of positive change within one or two sessions. |
